Abstract

Separated of some free phenolic compounds from flowers of Hibiscus Sabdariffa L. by column chromatography (CC). So, the acid hydrolysis was carried out for acetonic, ethanolic and ethanolic fraction for them and the ethanolic-acetonic fraction for aqueous extract, the results of chromatographic identification were appeared by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) that all separated parts of Rosella contained on P-hydroxybenzoic acid, also H3b and H4F2b contained of thymol as well as of the presence of vanillic acid in H3b, so cinnamic acid also was appeared, and coumarin compound in H3F2b were appeared, and thymol in H5F2b, as well as the identification of Maleic acid in all fractions H3b, H3F2b. The crude extracts and which contained on free isolate phenolic compounds were showed various inhibitory effect against of some bacteria under study, using disc diffusion method compare with some antibiotic standard.
