Assyrian Linguistic Traces in Mosuli Colloquial Proverbs

The research deals with a set of Assyrian linguistic effects that we find its echoes in the colloquial Mosul dialect, its proverbs and metaphors, as well as what is known as following. The researcher tried to establish the origins of these words by referring to the linguistic dictionaries in the Akkadian (Assyrian) language, as well as to the references that related to the Mosul dialect and proverbs, and making comparisons and what those Assyrian words have evolved from in forms relatively close to the Mosul dialect.
