Abstract

Geographers, or groups of them, in different eras in the past, circulated ideas in the field of geography that were completely different from the ideas of those geographers who represented the main lines of development of the geographical field. If geography is considered the study of spatial variation in the world, then standards must be established that would indicate spatial variation. Where he headed Huttner sought to lay the foundations for these standards, including the different characteristics from one place to another and the diversity that includes a system and systems that include a spatial grouping of phenomena in light of their location and relationships to each other. Accordingly , the standards may apply to specific cases through their spatial interpretation, and the data collected through the standards may be represented by a map that reveals clear comparisons between the elements that It contains this and has led to neglecting the importance of one of the basic geographical factors, which is the location of phenomena on the surface of the Earth in relation to each other. The definition of the region does not refer to more than a division of the surface of the Earth that was made by the researcher. It is not hidden from the beginning that there is a problem related to the way in which the division of the world into regions was taken. The important thing is to find the skill and scientific methods sufficient to take the world into geographical regions
