Family Support and Its Relation to Participation in Activating Community Initiatives As an Approach to Sustainable Development From the Perspective of University Youth
Abstract
The research aims to determine the level of family support and its dimensions (psychological, material and cognitive) among youth, determine the level of youth participation in activating community initiatives as an Approach to Sustainable Development and its two dimensions (social and economic), and examine the relation between family support and its dimensions and participation in activating community initiatives as an Approach to Sustainable Development and its two dimensions from the perspective of university youth. The analytical descriptive curriculum was used, and the research sample included (300) University youth aged 22-18 years the sample was selected in a simple random manner from the student lists of the University of Menoufia colleges and research tools on the general data form for young people and their families including the Family Support Questionnaire for Young People with dimensions of the Participatory Questionnaire for Sustainable Development with dimensions. The data was disaggregated using appropriate statistical methods through a statistical program.
