Means of Achieving Constitutional Reform in Iraq
Abstract
The effective Constitution of the Republic of Iraq is the highest legal rule in the state to which all legislative, executive, and judicial authorities are subject, and the existing political system is built according to it and determines the shape of the state. A clear explanation, as it was not in harmony with the political, economic, and social conditions, which requires amending it to keep pace with these circumstances. Accordingly, it is necessary to search for means through which reform can be achieved and the crises and problems that the country is going through and the deterioration of the political, economic, and social conditions must be addressed. The Federal Supreme Court can play an important role in the process of constitutional reform by interpreting it in a way that is compatible with the political, economic, and social circumstances.
