This paper deals with the movement in the short stories of Anwar Abdul-Aziz in which narration is it’s the cornerstone by using the technique of flashback and foreshadow, the writer move here and there to add to the event an impression in which it, this paper also tackles the division of the flashback which is one of the most important the techniques that cast the rhythm of time in the novel for it makes refraction in the sequins of its time line. Then the paper discusses the second technique of foreshadow which is represented into tow kinds; the movable and static one
