Welcome to JPM — Call for Papers (Volume 2, Issue 1, January 2026)

The Journal of Petroleum and Mining (JPM) invites submissions for Volume 2, Issue 1 (January 2026). We publish original, high-quality scholarship that advances knowledge and practice across the energy and mineral resources sectors.

Scope (includes but is not limited to):

  • Petroleum engineering and production operations

  • Refining, petrochemical processes, and process safety

  • Mining engineering and mineral processing

  • Applied geoscience: geology, geophysics, geochemistry, reservoir characterization

  • Environment, sustainability, and energy transition related to oil, gas, and mining

  • Data analytics, AI/ML, and digitalization in subsurface and processing

Manuscript types: Original research articles, review articles, technical notes/short communications, and case studies.
Peer review: All submissions undergo double-blind peer review.
Language: Submissions are welcome in English or Arabic (see Author Guidelines).
