The beauty of intertextuality in the poetry of Abdul Karim Al-Jili
Section: Arabic language
Abstract
Intertextuality is considered one of the artistic methods employed by the Sufi poet to enrich his poetic text with various cognitive and suggestive references. Consequently, this phenomenon elevates the language level, bestows beauty upon it, and takes it beyond the ordinary within the realm of poetic language. This phenomenon has been particularly evident in Sufi poetry in general and in the poetry of Abdul Karim Al-Jili in particular, adding a layer of beauty to his work
