Reflections of the rehabilitation program on the lives of detainees in Al-Jadaa Center from their point of view (Field study)

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the repercussions of the rehabilitation program on the lives of the detainees in Al-Jadaa Center from their point of view (field study), and its sample consisted of (207) detainees in Al-Jadaa Rehabilitation Center in Nineveh Governorate for the academic year (2023-2024). To achieve the research objective, the researchers prepared a questionnaire consisting of (55) paragraphs, the validity and reliability of which were verified, then applied to the research sample members. After collecting the data and analyzing them statistically using Pearson's correlation coefficient and percentage, in addition to the t-test for two independent samples and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, the researchers reached the following results:1- The (Rehabilitation Program) scale achieved excellent and very good rates among the research sample members of the detainees in Al-Jadaa Rehabilitation Center, batch (13).2- The (Rehabilitation Program) scale among the research sample members of the detainees in Al-Jadaa Rehabilitation Center, batch (16), achieved very good rates.3- There is statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the average scores of the research sample members of those deposited in Al-Jadaa Rehabilitation Center from batches (13) and (16) in the rehabilitation program scale. The researchers came up with a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.Among the recommendations: Writing a book by the Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons and their partners from members of the Nineveh Volunteer Team that addresses the cultural, religious, educational, legal, livelihood and technical programs that have been provided and their positive impact on peaceful coexistence and to consolidate the concept of citizenship. Among the proposals: Intellectual security is the way to acquire national, educational, legal and value values for those deposited in Al-Jadaa Rehabilitation Center (field study).
